On my previous post, I suggested that although a plethora of Chinese social media channels and platforms already existed, and the number seemed to be growing endlessly, it would not have to be a daunting task to decide which one you may want to use if you have limited resource and manpower.
Wechat is clearly a winner, with its sheer volume of active users and the functions that incorporate information sharing and distribution, text/voice/video chat, grouping, flexible API plugin, payments, and many more. But there are caveats. It is not all that simple.
